i think its dependent on trim level (Std,LE,SE,Hicas). Ive owned a 89 XE(std) coupe, and a 91 XE hatch. both have the same seats. Just different colors (my 89s interior was blue, and 91 black, so they were just blending it with the interior color).

 

i have a 1991 hatchback SE with the seats with removable headrests...my brother has a 1991 hatchback base model with the one piece buckets...the cars are the same color and same interior color so i guess its just the trim level.

 

the 89-90 only came with the buckets, the 91-94 came with either option

 

i got a 91 hicas se fb and its got movable headrests

 

The backseat should be different material as well correct?

 

93 LE with headrest and my buddy has a 93 base with none both FB.

 

I had both and rather have the one piece instead of the adjustable headrest. I got S14 seats in my s13 for my daily and like them better than the s13's

the condition will vary. i've seen mint seats and seats torn to shit.

I agree. Everything about them is bad. I don't like the cloth, no bolster support, and how flat they feel.

 

I would have them refoamed and reupholstered(sp?). The have a nice general shape though and I'd perfer them.

 

Crap, I just realized that I lied. my 1992 coupe SE has adjustable head rests. Doh!

 

s14 seats = own. they grip better, cushion better, and feel better for long trips.. i've had damn good buckets in both s13's, and i like my s14's in good shape.

 

s15 and r32/r33 are even better and then there are the GTR seats

Does anyone know if Z seats fit in s13's?

 

z seats fit no problem. gotta modify brackets, but it's not too hard. put some z32 seats in a friend's s13 just recently.

s15 and r32/33/34 seats are worth a LOT of money... same for 180sx seats

 

holy shit my friend wrecked his 350Z (he deserves it) i wonder if those seats will fit, he had the blue and black ones i think too

180sx seats are very overrated. They are just s14 seats with some 180sx material.
