after digging around on the car of course it needs some TLC. I had to steal the radio harness off of my own car cause the previous owner cut this one too close to the connectors. I am waiting for my brake lines to come in so i can bolt in my nismo LSD, 5 lug conversion, and brake upgrade. I had to change the exhaust out with my other one because this one is way too loud for normal driving. I can't wait to really get started on this car the way i want too.

i bought it from a guy that i work with. He couldn't figure out why it wasn't running after he got back from deployment. He said he took it to a shop and they said it was a wiring problem. And sold it to me for 2000. I had it for all of 30 min before i found out that all switches and relays were working correctly. Pushed started it and it ran great. I changed the starter and now it cranks and starts up on its own. By the look of it i will be putting the wheels, brakes and diff on the car in about a week or so.

 

He said he took it to a shop ? , and its just a starter issue..FAIL

Either way depending on rust I would pay 2k just for the rolling chassis atm.

 

I haven't found any rust. i mean this car has been san diego kept its whole life or something. i have found some bare metal in the trunk area and a little under the car but i haven't seen any rust on it so far beside some exhaust bolts.

 

So i did my 5 lug conversion, brakes, changed the rear diff, and mounted my wheels on . Here are some pics of how it looked when i was done.

yeah i'm over how zilvia is. I will show my build progress on here and sell on zilvia. I still have to get the correct sized bolts for the rear diff output shafts. I would like to bleed the brakes one more time, and i would also like to change the dash in this one. Tomorrow its just cleaning the car and garage as well as start preparing the engine and exhaust for fabrication.

 

Next weekend will be carpet cleaning, and fixing the radio harness

 

Been sick this weekend but managed to get out to the car and mount my pignose front lip. I'm gonna have to remove it to fix the front lip but it doesn't look all that bad.

 

Not much of an update right now because I have been taking care of other people's cars here lately. I have a buddy of mines s13 with an SR20DET in it sitting in my garage because we are installing a FMIC and relocating the battery. I have a buddy coming over later on today. He has an S13 coupe with an RB25DET. We have alot of wiring issues we are taking care of with his car. I will post pics of it later on tonight. As of right now i have 3 bovs for sale I have an HKS SSQV without a flange, an older Blitz SS with a flange, and a Greddy Type R with race spring and with a flange. If anyone is interested please message me. But here is how the car is as of right now.

 

Damn Stamps looks like a nice car.... Cant wait to see what you do to this one.... Any suspension parts let me know, i am trying to build mine up..

 

the suspension parts thats on the red car are megan. I'm not a fan of megan but they came with the car so i can't complain too much. I'm going to slowly start changing that stuff out after i get the RB in it and running.

 

Alright! That would be awesome if i could buy some of those parts... Shit ill take those K-A headers too.. I will be keeping an eye on this thread, excited for you to get that RB in and running... You have an e-mail?

I dont really have an update. I have installed a new horn button. I've been too busy working on other people's cars Here is what my driveway looked like yesterday.

I can't wait until I get a clutch and the stuff to degree my cams. Once i have that stuff done my RB will be ready to slide into the car.

The build will pick up for a little while after I get that stuff. I'm still trying to figure out how i'm going to do my FMIC. I'm thinking about leaving the lights up and flip the intercooler to see if i can get do the intercooler piping to where its as straight of a shot as possible.

 

Sorry for the delay in updates. I haven't done that much to the car. I have fixed a vacuum leak and remounted my front lip. I am still waiting on CA DMV to send me the title for the car so I can register the car in my home state and start driving it. The hood is starting to get hazy again so tomorrow i will be washing the car and buffing the hood back out. Anyone have ideas how to protect the carbon fiber look. I keep washing and waxing it but after about a month it still hazes up.
