I was looking to change the tailights on my 1995 S14 to R32. Wonder if anyone had any pics of this conversion and or how hard it would be to do something like that. I know it has been done, all info is welcome, thanks!

I just recently wrecked the back on my S14 so instead of paying $3000 to fix it back to normal I would like to do a skyline rear end also.

Why would u do that?
Its not the point of the money or what ever...
Its the point it wont look right...

But hey it’s your money... If u want to make your car look UGLY, then so be

Do what u want, but ppl here will not like it... Simple as that

But then again u are not doing the conversation for them, you are doing it for your self..

I personality think the Stock tail lights look great on the car.
No need to change it

Just look around on the internet, for some used tail lights etc..
Maybe it won’t be 3000.00

3000.00 I can find a s14 (zenki) so... I would look around before u spend 3k on repairing it, because I bet u can do it for a hell of a lot cheaper

Hey here is a picture of a S14 with skyline tails.. Which I wouldn't mind doing mine exactly like this. And if you don't think this look badass then you have some kind of anti-conversion complex and your kidding yourself. I think it could really use the matching spoiler w/ carbon fiber center and a muffler, but you get the idea. This car is a work in progress, I wonder if anyone has pictures of it finished?

I would just love to get some details on how this was done. Anyone know whos car this is, I'd like to talk to him.

I start work on monday as a helper at a body shop! So I think it going to be pretty easy to get my conversion done! YAY! :D

hey precision-x what would happen if you got rear ended? you would have to repaint the entire car not just the bumper in order for it to look decent. imo the circular lights really break up the look of the whole car, especially when the r33 taillight bezel is molded to the fenders and bumper... looks like an alien

off topic, but how would a coupe look with r32 tails?.....pics anybody?
Ive seen one conversion in person at some of the socal driftdays and I think the shop that did the work "rushed through" as it looked really sloppy. I've seen some pics of conversions though that looked really clean and if you didn't know what to look for you would swear they belonged there.

In the end it comes down to personal preference I guess.

Unless you know how to weld, do body work, and mold body panels together(and im not talking about using bodo on the body panel gaps) you will not be able to do it unless you pay a shop to do it for you, or the shop your going to work for will be happy to do it for you at a reasonable price. :greddy:
