i have a B&M also and have had no problems with it. in fact i love the thing. it sounds like the problem could be with your tranny tho. mine slips out of reverse once in a while even before u installed the B&M.
shifter problems!!!!
i got my short shifter in the other day but it keeps poppin out of 2nd and sometimes out of 4th is there something that i can adjust or did i do somethin wrong?
