1,600 dollars!!! for hinges!! how can that be...? why is this so expensive, is there any other kind of modification needed to the door or lock or something? anybody else make a cheaper kit?

scissor doors require a rediculous amount of high end fabrication and modification, has anyone see the import racer mag with the 500HP scissor door integra, the guy that owns it is an engineer with his own shop and machinery, he spent a year with the scissor door project, he said the hardest part was getting the doors to open perfectly in a lambo like manner.

that kit is bullshit, to perfectly get that lambo look your not just looking at slapping on a kit in an hour, thats the funniest bs i've ever heard in my life, read about showcars that have the true lambo scissor door style, when you open it they are weightless cuz of the little shocks/struts that they have. Not too mention the perfect examples were all custom fabricated, lambo style doors open a certain way and close a certain way they don't just fling up in the air like a pencil although most people think they do and i've only seen 1 perfect example done on a honda, which was the integra i'm talking about there may be others. But the others i've seen have been stupid looking, heavy to open, crashes with the fender, can cut your arm off, welds and hinges too weak and speed will break them off., bs like that is common.

Yeah go ahead and believe your 1hour lambo ad and while your at it take the "supercharge any car for under 30 bucks" ad also.:p
