i jus paided 65 for wires alone made by borg and warner. yeah, i got ripped but I needed them ASAP

 

As for me, I'm only running the 7mm bosch wires with autolite plt. plugs. they're ok. (40 bucks for about all)

 

go stock... OEM wires with NGK plugs, greatest combo for the stock ignition system.

 

I plan on getting the blaster2 coil and the magnecore 8.5's....think it'll make a diff? or spend the money elsewhere?

 

nope, no difference. spark is spark IMO. unless you're running very high rpms and it may not breakup as bad, but doubt you'll be going that high.

 

ehh, it'll insure a good burn, but depending on what else is done to the motor you may not notice much at all.

I see greddy has new spark plugs out, id try running nolgy hotwires and greddy plugs, it sounds expensive, but you know the names are good, so it cant be that bad of a combo.

 

Im running NGK Iridiums(Densos are in the mail), Taylor 10mm Wires, Blaster coil. I had new stock components pt on the car before I switched out, and I noticed a difference in better idle, better milage and throttle response over the stock ignition.

I am in the process of installing a better grounding system and I guess I will see if it made any difference.

Like I said I had all the stock parts replaced before I went performance. So I am guessing that the stock parts I got were subpar.

But anyways, I have slowly been thinking about doing something I did on my RX7(fb). A DFIS using FC coils(way stronger than a MSD coil), and using a haltech as my standalone and see what kind of numbers I could pull on a NA DE

Nissan dealer, LOVE nissan to be exact. They havnt let me down yet, and for a dealership know there shit.

 

obviously noone else in the forums uses spark plugs and wires. i'd like to see how these cars run...lol...

 

we all kept the stock one since they are pretty reliable until new ignition is needed

 

i'm running the ngk iridiums as well, with ngk 8mm wires. i also have a grounding kit installed on the car. decent improvement over stock. probably spent around $70 for plugs and wires. i forgot how much the ground wires were though, not too expensive i don't think.
