shopes?

Does anyone know a good, reliable shop that will swap sr20det s14's into my 95 240 since heavy throttle isnt doing swaps anymore, I live in New York? I just got an email from them saying they no longer do swaps. I am going to go crazy:help

Well...they gave me a price of 5000 for a STOCK set up for an s14 black top motor from 96 s14. My car is automatic so it's like 600 extra (auto-manual swap) which was includuded in the price. That's a really good prrice compare to what they charge at heavythrottle~around 6000 stock set up and a realllllllllyyyy long wait.

Full throttle NYC

Do not deal with these guys, they are incompetent. I have dealt with them and they suck.

Wings Performance
718-416-0137
Located on Grand Ave. in Maspeth Queens

Wings did an S14 swap for me and now he is doing an S13 silvia conversion for me. Full Throttle tries to sneak work over to his shop and then try to say they did the work.

Just outside Philadelphia, PA is Import Intelligence. It will be worth the trip. His name is Matt. Check out his website. He and his guys just did my swap. My car makes 305 rwhp and and 293 ft lbs of rwtq. 3 days from start to finish with an extra day for the dyno tune time. Bottom line is he and his guys are great and fair and worth the drive. ImportIntelligence.com Tell him Steve sent you if you talk to him.

that's weird i spoke with heavy throttle not to long ago and was telling me to set up an appt. for the end of this month. how much is this place outside of Phily. what does the swap include? details..
I think you will find them to be competitive with everyone else as far as price is concerned. $1,000 labor is what they charge. I let them acquire the engine as it was a comparable price to let them do it as it was for me to get it myself from Heavy Throttle. Matt is flexible and will do anything you want but because he does so many swaps I figured he has the most knowledge so I let him make the decisions as to where to source the engine and parts from. If you're in South Jersey it's not a bad trip at all. He is in Downingtown, PA. Check out the website ImportIntelligence.com
