okay so here's where im at i know i have a small electrical drain, what i need to know though is what does the sr20 require in cranking amps to start?

i have a lawn/garden battery in there now, and every now and then it just doesnt seem to have the juice to turn the engine over. im wondering if the battery that's in there now might not have the proper (cold cranking amps) cca to start the engine. i say this with confidence that it's not the starter because as soon as the battery is charged it'll start the engine no problem.

any advice with this is greatly appreciated.

yea that's what im doing today i just wanted to see if that was the general concensus too. i bought a small auto battery, like what braille or spoon makes. it's a stinger dry cell battery 300 pulse amp something or other, it's meant to go in cars that have big useless sound systems so it should work.
