my battery died and now i have no power on my stereo and also the clock on the speedometer isn't working but the back light on it is working. i don't think it's the fuse because i've checked all of it, except for the big blue ones that have covers on. any kind of help would be appreciated. thank

just rip it out, its added weight.....its probably a short, did u replace the fuse just in case?

it sounds like a fuse - did you check the interior fuse box?

I've already check the fuses and it seemed to be good. Is the interior fuse box the fuse box under the hood?

no, its in the driver side kick panel

it also depends how it was wired in. maybe they wired the Constant Power wire to somewhere they shouldnt have.

I had a similar problem after installing a JVC stereo and some new speakers. It turned out that there was a constant power draw... I installed a kill switch to disable the constant power wire. It works, too.

I had that problem while tring to install a friend of mines amp...My problem was the remote wire from the back on the stereo deck wasn't in it proper spot so in turn keeping the amp on at all times....Check that it might be your problem.
