Stripping down an SRed S14 for my KA-T build?

Before i found this SE zenki with a completely stock SR in it for sale, I needed the following parts to complete my 1997 S14:

Parts i Need:
Clean trunk lid
kouki Hood
5lug parts
Good looking rims
5spd. convert.
LSD.
Turbo setup.
Arias low comp pistons
FMIC.

all for my S14 kouki which was a base model with teardrops (4 lug) and an open diff + crappy trunk lid and hood that i need to change in order to paint my car.

well i found an S14 zenki that has almost EVERYTHING i need on it, except it has an SR which i don't need...

Zenki F/S. Comes with:
Clean Trunk
SR20DET (Red). Stock (T25)
VLSD
FMIC
5Lug
Good looking rims...

The guy wants $4,000 for this Zenki... Being that i was about to buy a KA Greddy turbo kit online for $4000 (shipping added) + an Fmic (+/- $300) + new 5 lug conversion ($500 + Breaks = $1,000) + new staggered Rims ($1000) + Trunk (???)... i figured it would all cost me WELL over $4000... so in my mind it was a good deal to just buy this car with "Everything" except KA low comp pistons, KA 5spd, and a hood.

But now im wondering, will I Be able to reliably strip the SR of all its turbo parts (Everything involved to make a Turbocharged motor) and put them all onto my KA24de? Is it worth it to buy this "Parts car" package or is it cheaper to just buy everything i am looking for seperately?

Whats wrong with the other S14?
Whats wrong with the other S14?

Its a forest green zenki with black front bumper, gutted, no A/c, turn signals don't work, all papers expired a couple years ago, and i want to use the parts for my kouki.

but i really think i want it just because it has a plethora of nice parts on it that i need to make my kouki sweet. a pretty nice sounding package. I'd probably sell the SR inside for cheap after i strip off its turbo parts... or maybe even leave what i don't want inside, and sell the car off again. all it would need are turn signals, and all its turbo parts again...

i just don't want/need 2 cars of the same nature like that. i already have and love my kouki.
its just not the car i intended to build and paint, but if i buy it i get the benefit of everything it has to finish up my kouki. and i don't feel like paying for it to be drivable on its own.

but my question stands...

anyone?
Sounds like a deal. You could probably make all your money back if you parted it out.

just the block would be left. here in Hawaii its hard to sell things if the buyer has to do any work on it. let alone pay the full asking price. lazy mokes...
well i just looked at the car today... it has white smoke coming out the exhaust and the battery is weak + the wiring job was really shitty... but it comes with work mesh wheels idk what kind.

I can't tell if its any good really... Would i be able to use the turbo parts for my cars KA??
You can use just about everything from the SR except:

Turbo Manifold
Cold Pipe to TB if it's an S14 SR (S13 SR will work)

its a 13 SR. is it harder to use an S13s parts? and why?

wait im confused. are you saying from cold pipe to tuberculous it also WONT work if its a blacktop? or are you saying those are all the parts that WILL work (up to)???

so only the turbo mani wont? and what else would i need?? like tuning ecu or anything? how the hell do we get jwt or enthalpy here in hawaii?
The S13 SR TB Matches the KA. So you can use the Piping.

You can use the:
Injectors (370cc)
Turbo (Inlet & Outlet)
Turbine Elbow & Down Pipe
FMIC & Piping
Fuel Pump unless he kept the Stock one
MAF 9Unless you decide to use a N60/N62)

Then all you pretty much need is a Tune, Oil & Coolant Lines, and a few other things...

i can't use my KA's existing oil and coolant lines? or the Srs?
bump

no?
i think he means oil and coolant lines for the turbo
Radiator outlets are different between the two radiators offered with those engines, so I'm gonna think no.

Oil feed, drain, and water lines for the turbo may be able to be re-used, I'm really not sure what you're working with.
i'll post pics once i get that car islandside...
