ok so i bought my 240 its a 90 with a black top sr in it and the tach dont work my friend tells me to run the tach signal wire to the #1 cop(coil on plug) will this work??? please reply or pm me

No....You need to search more, this topic has been around for a while. 89-90's you'll need a DOHC cluster or tach from it or a JDM cluster/tach will work 89-90's will not
