Here was back all stock almost 8 months after I got her. I got her from my neighbor for 500 bucks. She had an intake leak that was and injector grommet. Also didn't have reverse. Clutch fried on me so pulled everything out. Sent the trans in to be rebuilt and I messed with the motor. Along with the new trans with reverse I installed a fidanza flywheel ACT clutch and nismo motor and trans mounts.

 

So for this weekend with it raining I decided that I would take my spare intake manifold delete the emissions and polish the runners.

The first pic is a start of what I am after. The second just shows the flaws from the casting. I already know some of you are going to say I'm out of my mind and its not worth the time. I have seen it work here and there but it's mostly on muscle cars. So why won't it work with an import. Yes I won't feel any difference but it may show numbers. Every little bit helps in my mind.

 

Well here is the progress I've made still need just a little more work but I'm pretty satisfied so far.

I'll tell you it's hard and very time consuming to get to the bottom of those runners.

 

snake hones are good for that...

 

Yeah I've been using the dremel to get the bulk with the grinding stones then using the sanding wheels with it. I'm gonna finish it up with the bead hones I have. It's coming together nicer then I thought.

BigVinnie used to sell PnP Manifolds and just about all the ones he sold saw atleast a 5whp increase. But stopped after ppl didn't send cores so he said fuck it.

Like $160 or $180 something like that. It was under 200. Runners were bored out about 2-4mm I think.

 

Well I haven't been doing much to the 240 but I have been working on one of my other projects. Thought I'd might share a little with you guys.

 

Well went out to play with the car for a bit guess what battery is dead. Charging over night and I'll get back to it in the morn.

Charged the battery up over night. Wind did blow the hood shut. Don't think it bent or at least not to bad. But a small boost from the charger and she started right up I was shocked. Well parts are ordered and should have something to do for a few days I'm happy.

It's staying green guys that's the factory paint still. It's staying the same way. I'm trying to get it to look as nice as when my dad bought it off the showroom floor.

 

Got up at 4 came out to my little room that get heat and have been painting the whole time. I feel good.
