Hey is anyone part of the drift Texas forums? Seemed ok at first just to get ideas of meets and what not but ill have to say it's very slow. If I saw this right they only had one post last year in their tech section.

Nope. Idk if any of the mineral wells guys are on one forum or not. I'd love to go to a drift day soon, or at least talk with more people drifting near me. You drift zig?? I don't remember seeing if you did or not

Yea man. It's going slow but it's going. I go to UNT in Denton so I haven't been able to work on it as much. All I need is a solid day of progress and I'll get it up and running. I'm doing some headwork, installing an exhaust, making a Frankenstein HUD gauge cluster, getting my interior where I want it, and I got my turbo timer installed.

I should post that on my build thread haha not many people read it. When I get it running I'm gonna install my master bushing kit, get a welded, then start going sideways >:)) im so stoked to get her going 100%. I was driving her before but there were alot of little issues holding me back. When we all get our shit together we gotta have a solid dfw meet up!

I'm trying to get my shit together so I can meet up with y'all and not show up in a fuckus. I'm afraid it's gonna take a little more time then what I want though.
Hahaha word. I hate how slow our beloved process takes. One of these days in several months were gonna have a rad meet and maybe go slide somewhere!
 
Man I've been looking at that off and on. Someone there said set to stock on the gears and timing then mess with it. I'm not that up on SRs but that's what I'd do. I really don't mess with the cams. Only thing I've done is the dual exhaust cam on the KA and you have to advance the gear so the cam is in TDC position.

Word to that! I'm from California. And I can't even try to get used to this weather. It's crazy haha

I got some more feedback on my timing chain situation so When I get home tomorrow I'm gonna yank it off and get that thing done
 
Well I have color but not what I'm looking for. Gotta let it dry over night sand it back down and rethink my mixes. First it was to light almost **** teal now to much black. Think a 3:1 will work out ok maybe a little less on the black.
 
Well...it happened to me twice now. I was speeding up to sneak in before someone before I got to a stop sign and when I threw it into neutral to coast and slow down the engine cut out...not all the electronics, just engine. Slowed down to restart. Started fine...and the check engine light came on. Two codes came up...14 = speed sensor. I replaced this but it is still spitting a code. Not worrying Bout it...its been saying that for a long time. Also it was saying 11 = crank angle sensor. What's going on help help help. What am I going to have to replace? Simply a new sensor or am I going to have to rip shit apart?could this be causing a bog that I am getting at lower revs and a little lack of power?
