sorry for the huge picture if someone could resize it that would be great

but yeah this is my 88 vert it's slow and eats the gas but i love her i think i might sell it pretty soon and pic up something else after owning ten fc's i think i might either look for a 240 or a awd turbo eclipse or something

mods-full 2.5 exhaust, removed-ps, ac, omp, and emissions, magnecore 8.5mm plug wires, apex'i s-afc (dyno tuned 132whp, 107trq), rolling on 17's

Not too shabby... You have to right click and copy the url to get it to show up. Guess RX7Club didn't want ya stealing their bandwidth... I'm debating on going the 13B route for the Miata. Just have to wait and see...

since i love rx7s, but don't know shit about rotaries, this would be a nice thread to read over from time to time. where is DEREK?

anyone got a 86-88 rx7 afm for sale (non-turbo)?

thats a nice looking fc yeah their motors scared me at first but then i started reading and learning about them and there really isnt a whole lot to be scared of once you learn how to tune them properly and take care of them granted it's going to be more than a normal motor but oh well

nice car im going to try to get up some pics of the rx7 meet we had a couple days ago

No pics of any first gens? Screw all of you. this car was the one that started the rotary frenzy (the previous rotary cars, the rx3 and such never caught on very much)

fine, a few pics of our sexy little silver 1st gen

1 owner, '81 5 speed. 80k origional miles

it's about to go in for a full exterior restoration. full new repaint (same silver, new pinstripes... oh yeah.)

Car looks nice, but the RX7 didn't start the rotary "frenzy." The Cosmo Sport did....in like...the late 60's/early 70's.

didn't the cosmo sport have a massive number of engine problems, and the public didn't buy into it to terribly well. the rx-7 started it I believe, since it was cheap and fun.

i remember a story about cosmo owners when they pass one another on the highway, they held out a hand with fungers up to indicate how many engines they had replaced under warranty. My facts could be wrong though.

I never gave much thought about the RX cause of the rotary engine. I don't think its easy to get it fixed if it breaks down. Anyone kno a good site to lear more about the rotary engine and its care. Are FC and FD's fun to drive? Anyone have any opinions about the RX 8.
