Hey Everyone, name is Korey from Mobile, AL. Area just bought my first 240sx. Cheated a little bit and found one with a RB swap and some other goodies now just learning about the car and motor while it’s at the shop to get a tune on it. Planning on making it my DD while I learn what all I can do with it later.

Hey all, I’m chris, I live in SoCal. Within the last year, I have taken on the project of restoring a 95 240SX KA24DE manual. Also adding some basic mods along the way. I am at the point where I want to purchase a new KA24DE with or without an M-trans to tear down and rebuild. (No, I am not new to rebuilding engines. Built a 1994 Benz E420 V8, and I am currently building a VW/Audi 2.5l 5cyl for a boosted 650whp.) my dilema is, do I go with pistons at 89.5mm (+0.020mm) at 8.5-1 compression or 89mm (stock measurements) at 9-1 compression boosted for 400whp, and possibly run E85 instead of 91oct. What are the thoughts here??

Hi All,

I have a B140 nissan ute with a DET in it, currently still stock.
Even with a stock motor in it, it is still a lot of fun as the ute only weighs 750kg.

Joined the forum to get some info on SR20det motors as ill be rebuilding the motor and gearbox over the next few months to come.

Cheers🤘
