Whats up, this is Leigh (Lee) I drive a 350z but just picked up a 240 to try and start drifting . I need to buy a motor asap..

Hi, mey name is Cal, I'm 19 years old, and I am a regular on www.son240sx.ca.

I have had my 1989 coupe since i was 16 and got my g1. It is my first car, and I plan on keeping it for a little while longer. The car started out as an automatic, and has since gone through a lot of modifications.

New to the game!

My name is Jesse. i'm from michigan. i'm looking for a rear wheel drive stick. thats it. either a 240, 280, older 300 (can't afford a newer body style 300), RX7, or an awd dsm..? i dunno i'm here looking for the best option. I'm coming to u guys with a butt ton of questions so.. HELP ME.

I work for JRP, so I've got quite a bit of knowledge under my belt.

I've got a 1990 black hactback, as with most Canadian 240's there was a considerable amount of rust damage, thusly I tought myself to weld, and replaced a good section of the floor, frame and trunk bed. Currently I am concentrating on suspesnsion modifications, which currently include, Cusco comp 2 coilovers, Cusco adjustable pillow ball tension rods. Tanabe strut tower bars, Nagisa fender braces, and a few of my own personal tricks.

I'me rockin' the kae with 327xxx kms on it. Runs like the day it was made ^__^

I'm in the middle of collecting the remaining peices of my s13 silvia front end conversion. Which would be the fenders.. I need fenders (lol)

please feel free to ask me anything at all.

I have a big problem!!! need a scuttle pannel really quickly, mines rusted away and there are none in the UK!!!! can anyone help or give a nissan dealer outside the UK email addy?

For right now all i have is 4 new speakers and a new headunit Im broke so
I can only do so much at a time. right now im saving for breaks suspension and a SR20 swap.

Anyways, my name is Justin, I'm planning on picking up a 240 for my next project. I intend on buying the parts first, an sr20det front clip, and working on an S15 front. Once I have the parts, I'm going to be looking for a wrecked S14 to work with. This is intent on being a complete project car as I already have a 2002 Ford Focus that's modded enough to keep me sane.



Anyways, I'm hoping to use 240sxforums as a spot to learn what's possible as far as front end conversions and going into if I'm going to want to build the sr20det before I put the new engine.

hi everyone i'm max, (everyone generically says, "hi max") and i... need to post more (to get access).
anyway, i own a 95 240, bone stock. no mods for a while because i just got the car. but the first mod, aftermarket(ly?) will the susp. more specifically the kei office gx. yup 500 down, bajillion more to go. :heyhey

Hello, everyone. Looks like I'm one of a whole bunch of n00bs here...

At any rate, I'm Nick and live in the Poconos (PA). I work in NJ as a mechanical engineer for the DoD. I'm trying to balance work, school (working on my masters), married life, and my cars...which brings me to why I'm here.

I've been through a load of cars over the past 8 years, and I'm looking to make a comeback with Nissan, specifically the 240. Currently, I have a decently modified SVT Focus. Hopefully, I'll use this site to help make up my mind for my next project, which if you were wondering is between a 240 and a gti. :dancingco

Whatz upppp?

Whatz up 240ers, I'm happy to be here hope to have a good experience. I really need to get my 90' 240 in line. It has flood damage and some f'ed up brakes but I love her to death :eek3dance .I hope to swap the motor and tranny as soon as possible. Currently they have well over 200,000 miles but still gets like 20 something miles to the gallon.
PLEAZE SEND ME INFO ON SOME DEALS!!!!!!!!!!!!! :1bowdown

Hey man, Im a Texan too but sadlly not to close to you. Currently Im in Bigspring, its on the west side of tx, and I just came from Dallas. Our car is pretty rare but Ive seen some 240s decked out in Dallas. Silvia conversions and all the goodies. My 240 is my first car too and will always be there for me. The only other thing Id buy is the Skyline comin in 06. Its a crazy G35 and form what I know, will be here for sure finally. I got the info from September's Sport Compact Car mag, on page 44.Now all we need is a new 240 or silvia.

I just signed up today. I've been doing the Honda/Acura scene for about 7 years, owned 7 of them. Right now I have a 10.4 comp b16 CRX and a Lexus ES300 (daily).

Im looking for a 240sx...I guess I caught the bug since I go back to Japan every summer, and all I see are Nissans and Toyotas. A lot of 240s, a lot of Chasers, Cressidas, etc.

Anyways thanks, and maybe I can pick up someone's old ride from here. :dancingco

i came across this forum while searching for as much SRswap info as i could
im from brooklyn, NY and i pretty much work on my car in my spare time
i fell in love with 240's/silvias about 6 years ago
i first had a 1990 fastback and now a 1993 fastback with 165k
so far i've done:
F+R strut tower bars
Tanabe rear sway bar
Nismo power brace
Tein TC Rods
HKS Hi-Power 65mm
Custom intake
B&M short shifter
SPEC stage 2
and a bunch of other little stuff
my plans for the very near future:
probably Tein HE's and much more various suspension
LSD (dont know which one yet)
s13 blacktop
z32 brakes
and ripping off the god damn stock spoiler on my hatch! haha
looking forward to the future on 240sxforums.
