Just wondering what the line is on the tranny and if it hooks to any thing

Yea um you're gonna have to be more specific than that lol

But to take a guess, I'd say you're talking about the breather tube. The one that runs up toward the front on top of it? If so, no nothing hooks up to it. It's just a vent for the transmission.

^^^Not 100% sure if this a 240 tranny, but you can see it in this pic. The hose goes to the little curly looking tube attached to the top mounting bolt for the tranny.
