Hey, I just got another 1990 240SX SE from a kid in Jersey CIty. He lied and I bought it, and now i am driving a car with a speedometer that comes on and off, an odometer that is stuck at 111,300 miles and a trip odometer that doesnt work either...what can i do?:12dunno ? Can anyone help me with this. Its a manual tranny with a bad 3rd gear synchro. It would be really appreciated if anyone knows anything, especially pictures or a step-by-step guide. Thanks!!!

i have this problem to, my odomeder works but the speedometer works when and if wants to. A new cluster would fix this? or is this a speed sensor problem?

that could be a fault too.

A whole new guage cluster...like the dash. I am not good at electronics. I can get a whole new dash, but how would i match the odometer, etc.?

i'd imagine u dont match the odometer, because its against federal law to tamper with it and if you sell the car and they find that out they can sue you.

the cluster is just a few bolts and screws and just swap the whole thing in. simple procsess

if you replace the cluster roll the odometer to the same miles you have or get a big hammer and beat it tell you fell better lol

I didnt bother changing my odometer, its like an extra 50k miles but i dont plan on selling the car for a while if ever
