ok so i finally finished my KA tear-down. 40 ziplocks, a box of bandaids, and about FOUR HUNDRED FREAKIN DOLLARS LATER ( I had to buy *a few* extra tools.)

argh, my air compressor died so I had to buy another, then I had to get an impact wrench and just for fun an air ratchet. Plus impact sockets... also a gear puller, a 10mm allen head socket, air hoses, air line water trap, quick release couplings, 1/4" nipples (for the air hose you perv), and a whole lot of gatorade because I did this all with a huge hangover.

$$$$$$$$$

anyway, it was worth it because I managed to teardown the entire motor in less than 3 hours starting from the point of having the valve cover off and cams out. all this being done on a palatte in my back yard. Of course there is now a huge oil stain on the "patio" (concrete slab, it looked like crap already-hey I rent) but it will piss off the hood rats that cut through between the houses :thumbsup :eek3dance

if theres one thing I would like to say to you all is AIR TOOLS FUCKING ROCK!!!! they saved me so much time, completly worth it.

now I get to start saving for pistons and machine shop time...( watch for future rants)

thanks for reading this, glad I could waste your time. :happyfing
