I'm not part of PG so I really don't want to imitate their cars. I like rainbow flake, but I've seen it done on every s13 and s14 body style with grey/silver color....some even twice. May want to take bits and pieces of colors/ideas from other cars, but not replicate.

Not that big a fan of reds. Too bright of a color for me, not enough shades unless it's real deep and rich. There's been one blue car I liked the color of and I've been considering the paint, but only will do if there is overwhelming love for it.

Brown gun metal looks hot

 

I like the brown/gunmetal, good color to go w/ if you dont find anything else.

Personally, I think you should go w/ a OEM two tone scheme, maybe a black/grey, something along those lines.

 

See I want something that doesn't really stand out too much, I just want it to "pop" and not look at lease OEM (regardless of the two tone from black roof).

 

dark copper or a lighter burnt orange. Maybe some sort of purple, just try to find something simple yet different.

 

Burned orange is played out. I was considering a purple but I couldn't find anything I liked that would be a "neat" color, instead of just an outright ****-looking color.

I dont know but if I were you and I was going to repaint my car I would go with the classic White with a blacked out roof and hood. I know you said not to suggest white but I think that Shiznit looks like the shiznitZ!!! Its not flashly at all and your already going to paint your roof black so kinda works then go with some gold wheels or something like that. thats my two cents hope you find something you like.

Don't like white. Nothing pops to it and everybody does it.

i think the Brown.gunmetal color will look alot better since your car is a fastback, but if you had a coupe id say the silver color.. . . .
I still am not 100% on what color i want to paint the coupe, its either leave it red, or a royal blue or royal purple.... i want some thing dark....

The more I think about it, the more I am leaning towards silver even though that Gunmetal is a rare color to see on any car, especially with a black roof. What's going on with your car nowadays anyway? Haven't talked to you in a while.

Too yellow for me, I'd want to tint it a lot if I did it.

BMW Montego Blue Metallic

If I could find something like it but darker, and richer I would definitely do it. Really looking for a color that will more closely compare with the blue I posted above (even though it's only that dark because it's in the shade).

I vote 350z Le Mans Sunset Orange. Its quite a stretch from the colors you have posted but I saw a pic of it and loved it. I just want to see some other people do it before I do to see if it always looks this good:

Nice find! If I go with that brown/gunmetal (or at least what I'm calling it) I will probably use that color as a base to then tint it to exactly what I'm looking for.

I need a pic or something to give me a general idea of what that would look like.....STAT! I want to do something ridiculous with the paint. I have a pretty "bold" and aggressive-styled kit, I want bold colors, and ridiculous paint that pops, but isn't standout-ish bright colors. Hopefully that made sense?

A little late, but this was the color i originally wanted to paint my coupe.

Its called Gold Rush from the 01 Xterra

And right now I am somewhat leaning more towards silver with black roof and somewhere in the middle of normal silver flake and bassboat on steroids amount of silver flake. My buddy wants to basically have matching paint now too (he has an s13 coupe). So we'll see what happens and what ideas you guys can pop up with these next couple of days. :thumbsup

I really like it, but I think I've officially settled on either the silver or the brown/gunmetal. That is unless there's a really random color that doesn't fit the context of anything posted so far (crazy purple, flaked out brown, etc.).
