Someone painted the center section from what I can see. Fairly common, but the tails still have the bulges so it looks funny.

Options:
Paint
Kouki tails
LED/Altezza style.

hmm, do you know of any that just has a completely black panel and just the reverse lights?

i belive i do have a zenki 95-96 model. its not SE/LE because it came stock with 15 in rims and no bells and whistles inside

my car at the moment is completely stock but pretty sure needs a lot of TLC. paints faded, headlights yellowed, interior very dirty. timing chain is off. the car does not run/start. prev owner has no idea about it (i bought it from a mom). so im reading these forums on what to do. just had it towed to my driveway thats about it. any other helpful tips/threads you can point me to would be helpful. at the moment i want to keep the exterior of the car as stock and as non aggressive as possible (police)
i live in california. also what are some other things i can make this car go quiet? i know somebody welded a loud as hell exhaust on it, ill be removing that ASAP. it looks like a fake muffler, its just a straight pipe with muffle enclosure to make it look like a muffler

mine looks just like this minus the spoiler. same color but very faded paint but the great thing is that it havent been abused, probably just sat in the sun a lot. (im pretty sure a single mother of 2 didnt take this thing to go drift :thumbsup )

Lack of care is a form of abuse too, don't forget. Just saying.

Nobody (Not that I've seen over the past few years) sells pre-made center sections. Have to tape and paint/tint.

i see

well i been doing some reading around on here, i havent seen a timing chain/belt DIY thread or im not searching hard enough

if im going to go through the process to do that, what other tune ups can i do to the engine? water pump, fuel injectors spark plugs radiator fuel filter rotor distributor etc?
Try looking in the FSM
It might be illegal to get rid of your third brake light, if it's already installed on your car. However, I think the first year Zenki's had a trunk lid that did not have the third brake light (I am not 100% sure, I've had Zenki owners around here ask me why I have a third brake light, apparently they didn't show up until the Kouki's around here, I've never actually checked on this, though).
Now that I can see that pic on something bigger than the iPhone, it looks like the black piece was vacuu-formed or something similar.

i wish i can find more pics of that car, i went to the website on the pic but it doesnt have it there. i stumbled upon it google searching "gold s14"
Well, you got the plate ;) Jk. See if that was on someone's photobucket. Might be there.

I DID see a new kind of taillight in some JDM vids. I'll see if I can find the links, but GL trying to find one....I think even RLong whos IN Japan would have trouble. Never seen them till now.

EDIT: 2:00 or so, White Kouki w/ gold and no front bumper.
