The other day I went to the junkyard to look for a stock bumper, because i accidently hit a tree while sliding on ice. They only had like 3 240's there. 2 of the front bumpers were messed up and the third had a aftermarket front bumper. The car was red and the bumper was black and all sanded down and looked like previous owner was ready to paint whole car. I ended up buying the bumper. I also got one of the turn signal, the other one was broken. The stock turn signals won't fit in this bumper and was wondering if any of you knew where I could get this type of turn signal. Also I can't find out what type of bumper this is. Any of you guys know??

Um, no? Yes, everyone is new at the begining, but some of us (at least I) actually searched for the answer to a question so silly. Because some of us knew that asking something like that would get us flamed and laughed at. So we decided to search to save ourselves the embarassment, save others the wasted time, and add more knowledge to our brains. But hey, that's just the smarter few of us...I guess you don't qualify for that group yet. Any fucking noob could just search for 2 minutes and figure out what you asked. I'd suggest you familiarize yourself with all the info in the FAQ section of the forum before you post anything else...

Wow. That might be the noobiest noob question ever to asked in the land of noobville. The noobitude of that question nearly knocked me out of my seat!

you flamers are dumb, and this is coming from someone who used to MEGA flame people.... you making fun of him just shows how big of an immature noob you are. you should just give constructive critasism. like "thats a stock 91-94 bumper... try searching more." not NOOB NOOBY NOOB NOOB

First of all, since i am a non-violent and generally peaceful guy, i am going to assume that you werent referring to me in the above statement. If im wrong in assuming this let me know and i will give a more suitable response.
As far as saving time, i think everyone will agree that it takes considerably less time to ignore a newb's post than it does to write a flaming 100 word response to it. especially when we both know that it wont stop it from happening again. I feel sorry for the kid that asked the question.. he probably wont show his face on the forums again, after this. Shouldnt we be focusing on educating these people so that they wont ask these dumb questions any more?
I think one of the greatest things about this forum is the generally relaxed and friendly vibe that is usally present here. I just want it to stay that way...

i have the exact same feelings towards this whole erruption of noob and flameness.. but i have to draw ur attention to one thing..

the forum.. WILL NOT....stay this way. i guarantee it, within the comming summer, more drift events, more kids crashing our beloved cars into poles and curbing them like stale gum... and with less s13's made than in 1 year of honda civic production (and look where thats gone).. this will NOT be a happy place.

on that note... new club forming.. check the sig :D

It was actually to Nialbe's post. but why do you concern yourself with saving MY time? How do you know I don't just have plenty of time to waste. And BTW, I'm sorry, but anyone who doesn't know that a stock bumper is stock IS ALWAYS GOING TO BE FLAMED! People that fucking retarded shouldn't have come to this board posting such a question, they should have come and searched first and foremost. So yeah, I guess my response COULD be directed at you... But know this, I didn't know what a pignose was when I joined. I mean I knew what an 89-90 front looked like, I just never knew that it was called pig nose... I used my COMMON SENSE, and figured "oh, they must be talking about the old bumper that has the 2 holes in it."

THIS IS THE REASON NOOBS ARE FLAMED:
BECAUSE THEY DON'T USE COMMON SENSE.

*sigh* this is EXACTLY why I do not surf these boards that often anymore. Out of all the forums Im on this is the ONLY forum I read that has 90% of their threads go OFF TOPIC and maybe 20% go flame free. It's sad and it actually really sux because the 240 is such a great car but it's most popular forum sux because of a sad group of ppl that have to ruin it for everyone. The 240 deserves better than this. EVERYONE starts out as a NEWB and to you flamers out there: If you know so damn much about the car why don't you get off your high horse and actually give ppl the help they are asking for? GOD forbid you do answer a question and actually give meaning to the word forum. Do you consider yourself as a non-newb because of your high post count???? LOL most of you post in OFF-TOPIC threads and when you do post in the technical section it's to flame someone or start a flame war so if you don't help ppl out by providing answers or some form of help, whose to say that your not a 240 NEWB.....NOT EVERYONE can find answers when they search, how would this guy know to search for a OEM 91-94 bumper when he had no idea it was OEM in the first place??????? Im not saying I know everything about the car myself but Im trying to help...after all that's what a forum is for. NOT flaming ppl and being an asshole about it. Damn I dont know how you people can put up with this... I don't even know how NEO tolerates this in his own forums. BEING A POST WHORE DOESN'T MEAN YOUR NOT A NEWB. You'll get more respect from helping ppl or at least trying to help then you will by being a post whore. IN THE END THERE IS NOTING DIFFERENT FROM YOUR SO CALLED "NEWBS" AND SOME OF YOURSELVES BESIDES POST COUNT.

Go ahead and flame me now for putting in my .02 cents god knows its all some of you are good for on these boards.

P.S. to the thread starter I apologize for going OFF TOPIC to answer your question that has been answered many times, as they said it's a OEM front bumper off of a 91-94 240.
