curb weight is comparing to what, moon weight? wtf is curb weight

 

mines like 2600 something...thats what it says on the title

 

While curb weight is a good reference, take your car to a scale. Scrap metal recyclers usually have these and it rarely costs anything to have it done. Though, I have yet to hear anyone brave enough to pull over to a DPS manned roadside truck weigh scale on the highway.

Most times if you look at the registration reciept, it will list the curb weight.

 

Why does it say 3700lbs on the door sticker though?? Is that how much weight before it botoms out or something?
