What to check

i am getting a s13 front clip with the sr20det red top. i was told when i get it to replace the timing chain, tensioner, head gasket and water pump right off the bat just so i know its reliable. it sounds like a good decision since its going to be my daily driver but i was not sure if it was necessary. i tried to search for this but didnt quite see this answer any help would be great thanks

water pump, thermostat, plugs, bang out dent in oil pan, new fuel filter. Done and done.
Chains don't really require maintenance, and i'm to lazy to replace if i can avoid it.

thats about all i was going to do that why i wanted to check. it seemed like it wasnt needed. thanks for the help
