I was thinking about going with HKS hipower cat-back, greddy header, and injen air intake...is this completeyl flawed? or is it a good setup? also, what would oyu recomend for a clutch adn flywheel set up? i am getting a Kaaz LSD, so what would go well with that?

I also would like to know, if you guys could guess more or less...what would you estimate getting some eagle h beams, and a low compression piston set +install be?

thanks for your time guys!

AEM short ram (or A'pexi power intake), hotshot headers, Border 304 Max exhaust

SilviaDriver has a point....there is no best....just mix and match, do the right tuning...and be happy with what YOU have done to YOUR car.

well, can you atleast tell me if greddy headers are good? and what about injen cold air intakes for the KA...
Greddy headers are not good....as I posted above...I suggest hotshot headers or OBX :eek4: . As for the CAI....its good...but your not going to see a huge difference.

AEM is better if you like the AEM sticker on your car...

Injen is better if you like the Injen Sticker on your car...

as posted above, they both do the same thing

(i dont mean to sound like a dick, but they will both greatly increase air flow... im goin with the Ebay intake, saves me $160 which i can put towards somethin else)

Im not gonna say i know for a fact that they make the exact same #'s b/c they might, but the differnce whould be fractional if any

and why aren't the greddy headers good? jeebuz, i'm having to pull this shit outta you guys.... :12dunno

so AEM or Injen CAI?
Injen...but its a short ram with an CA extension at extra cost. Greddy headers have been know to crack. I suggested hotshot because I hear alot of good reviews from them. I also suggest OBX because believe it or not...they are pretty good...and the price is really nice. I got some OBX headers because I wanted a cheap replacement for my crack stock manifold. I got them for $197 shipped. These are the only things from OBX that is good quality....

do you have the website for the headers. and also is pacesetter any good.

NO pacesetter heades are not good unless you get them coated(they rust if you do not). I have Greddy Headers (they do crack but you can have them welded better and they will never crack (they crack because greddy cared more about cosmetics then use)) which doesnt cost too much and you keep your cat with greddy so you can keep some back pressure if you get a bigger exhaust. I have an injen intake because I think it looks best in the engine bay. And I have the Apexi N1 single exhaust which is 3 inches I think. My car has not lost any noticeable lowend troque and has alot more top end. You cant go wrong with this combo. But AEM Hotshot and and kind of exhaust will work virutaly the same. Just watch out when you get an exhaust not to get too big of a pipe or you will lose some power. I also have the ASP underdive pully on my car for 2 years and she stilll runs great. And the best part is putting them all on yourself so good luck.

Oh jeez....as you can see, this is my first post, and i have never talked to you...sorry...anywho...theres gotta be, like, some set ups must give different dyno numbers...
i dont care if its ur first post or not. dont use ur first time as an excuse of ur lack/laziness of searching.

all setups give different dyno numbers. u can have the same setup as the guy next to u..and he can still gain 1000hp more than u can.

y? search and ull see.

i always have a point.

well, can you atleast tell me if greddy headers are good?
search and u will find out y the GReddy header is not good. **you only have ONE header...so its not HEADERSSSS**

i'm having to pull this shit outta you guys....
pull it out of the search button. quit being lazy.

the clutch has nothing to do with the lsd I recommend a act but then again it's all personal preferance. I would just make your own intake as I'm not a fan to cai as water is prone to getting into the motor and you can get hydro-lock. I don't know about headers you'll have to search my car has a stock exhaust man.

Awesome! Do you know of a site where I can get nismo headers for a KA24DE? also what kinda stuff could you keep up with in a strait line? just outta curosity...

you could get them from stillen for 350.00 i think. and as for a straght line ive ran with some 94-96 mustang gts , vtec si civics del slows preludes so on and so forth. but there are lots of variables to consider too, your just gonna have to go and get those parts and race some cars and see for yourself
