hey guys has anyone figured out a way to make your windshield wipers work with the rb25det swap? i read someone has had to hardwire his to make it work. any information would be helpful. thanks

When you remove the f3 plug from the ka harness, you need to keep all the wires and plugs that run up to the wipers, but cut off all the ones that run to the ecu/motor. Then those are the wires that are spliced into for the swap. The ones to the wires remain untouched.

um iirc on the s13 the wipers are on the chassis harness not on the efi harness unlike the s14.
should work fine as mine did when i had my rb20 in my s13 a while back.

hey carl, which plug is it? pictures would help but yea this is on a s13 sohc.

Yeah i have a rb20 in SOHC s13 and the windshield wiper plug is on the chasis harness. heres a picture.

do you have to splice the wires or just plug and play?

I didnt have to do anything involving that plug. When I got my car the KA and all its wiring was already out so something might be different, but i can't imagine you having to mess with it unless you already cut it off with the rest of the old harness.

yeah, go to the links section on racebread.com and they have a "many good FSM downloads" link listed there. on that site you'll find an electronic version for sohc and dohc 240's. i d/led them but havent looked in them yet. hope they can help

figured out the problem, it was a wire that got disconnected by the motor. thanks alot.
