Hey all. My name is Michael, im an auto tech for a GM dealer on the Eastern Shore of MD. Age 24. Im a big motorsports enthusiest but rather new to the import scene. Most of my experience has been on carburated V-8s and turbo diesels. I was a tech for International Truck and Engine before moving to the auto world. My friends in college introduced me to import motorsports, a world I was not even aware of before.
I look forward to meeting new people here and learning more about a car I never knew i loved.

Hey, my names Ian. I live in Vancouver BC. I was always into import cars.. for some reason since i was about 12 i always like the 240.. people at school always thought i was crazy and said they where ugly because of the pop up lights.. well im 18 now and turing 19 in september and i finally have myself my first and decent 240sx... its a 90 with 298km... it is high but i have plans for my baby.. if something goes wrong with the engine i will swap in a sr20. I know a bit but not a whole lot.. right now i don't really have mods done to my car... tokico blues with tein lowering springs, sleepy headlights, pacesetter header, 2.25 cat back exhaust with 4" ebay muffler (that sounds pretty good i might say). i have most of the interior behind the front seats removed.. i still have the back seat but it will come out eventually as i am getting into drifting. I do things as money comes along as i am going to school for mechanics and will be getting a job as a 1st year apprentice as soon as possible...

Hey whats up everyone Im new to whole silvia sceen. Actually just got into it since i noticed the real power of silvia's while living in japan. I used to live in states in NC before coming out here for a while. Anyway I just want to say hello.

What's up...my name is Brian from AL. I got a 89 S13 with a fully built SR20DET that is still in the project stages. Mods include: CP pistons bored over .20 with Eagle H-beam rods, Exedy stage 3 clutch, all Crower titanium head pieces, and alot of other extras. I hope to learn alot and share all the info I have with yall.

I'm Jon from Roanoke,TX. I current do not own and have never owned a 240 but I plan on getting one as a project car. I've already been reading up on SR20DETs and am seriously planning on swapping in one of those. There is so much info I will be sifting through it all for a long time! I would like a coupe but am not opposed to a hatchback. So if anyone knows of a clean 240 for sale in or around TX let me know!

hey i am jake from florence alabama, i own a 90 hatchback with a SR20DET, i did the swap myself . im not a drifter, not really a street racer, or track racer. i just love my 240sx like GOD loves you, and i want the car to be at
full potential, to expose its true warrior spirit. the list of mods is pretty long,
nothing crazy though, name a part and mine is probably aftermarket, or z32 upgrade or JDM.
the car is at a nissan specialty shop getting new cams,metal head gasket, etc...
im missing it bad....
any way just wanted to say "i introduce to you,...myself!"

Whats going on everyone. Im new to the forum and just wanted to introduce myself. Everyone calls me Chewy so do the same. I have a 89 240sx SE that Im building into a JSpec 180sx. I plan in doing alot of the work myself to save money. In the end I want between 300-350whp. I want a very clean build with a nice kit thats not to aggressive. Just something that I can go have fun with. Right now its sanded down and I gutted everything from the back of my drivers seat. I just got my windshield replaced and the only modification I have is a nice muffler I got from my old job. For some reason people try to race me and its funny cuz I still have a the SOHC KA24E lol. I would like to get an s14 BlkTop with Garret GT2871R .64 a/r upgrade. Some head work in the way of cams springs retainers by Toda , Circuit Sports dwn pipe and full exhaust. Considering many things at the moment. If any of you live in Rockville MD and surrounding areas, hit me up.

Hey, my name's Jace, i'm from Reading, PA. Currently own a 93 NX2000 with a SR20DE. Its got a fubar radiator and possibly some electrical problems. Due to financial problems, i can't afford to fix it :tears so im looking to sell the engine/parts/whole car.

Just bought me a '97 240sx two days ago (sweet!) but i'm no stranger to the 240/silvia scene... i lived in japan for nearly 4 years and had my very own Silvia (which i miss sooo much). I'm in the ATL, so hit me up!

how was living in japan? i hear its super expensive there. was it hard to get a visa? my gf and i might go there in a few years so she can make some bank teaching in english. let me know how you liked it.

Hey, I'm here because my friend wrecked his 240, and somehow I became his personal mechanic. So I'll be around looking for info and probably asking a few questions as problems come up. I know my way around cars and own an old-school escort that I did an engine swap in (flame on), so I'll avoid the noob questions.
