go 33's at least. as long as you dont get swampers most of the bigger tires you can buy buy ride real nice. 31's are just to small. barely will notice any difference. Z71 chevys come with 31's stock, and h2's come with 35's stock. just think about the size difference. 33's will perform, fit and look real nice

Remember, the axle is in the center of the tire. For every inch of tire you add, you only gain a half inch of ground clearance. The other half inch goes to the top of the tire, so you have to add a lift or cut fenders to fit the tire. Most Japanese light trucks fit 31's no problem. 33's will usually limit steering travel and probably require fender modifications or a body lift. That's a lot of trouble for one inch of ground clearance.

yeah, the xl7 and gran-vitara's

to be the mini-ute's that they are i was surprised to find out how praised they are for thier off-roading ability, they have low-range gearing and a gutsy lil v6. I've seen xl-7's go for really cheap too since suzuki's usually don't hold up in value.
They have quite a cult following. In a way, the Geo Tracker is the Lotus Elise of off-roading. By that, I mean that they're extremely light weight. I've seen stock Trackers fly through mud puddles right along with giant Bronco's with locked axles and 35" Super Swampers. Plus, with their short wheelbase and tiny chassis, they've got phenomenal clearance for approach and departure of obstacles. They're amazing little vehicles and reliable too!

What's up guys, I'm back home from Iraq for rest & recovery. I have the 240 at my friends house doing my SR20 swap and ran into some questions. First off, I was going to replace some tranny shit and stumbled up a nismo clutch and flywheel. I wanted to have the flywheel resurfaced but I'm not even sure it needs it, I'll take some more pictures tomorrow. I figured I'd just reinstall the nismo and beat on it while I'm getting better with a 5-speed and then replace it with the spec stage 2. Anybody have those allen wrench bolts for the pressure plate, I broke one off trying to torque it back on there. If not, I'll check a dealership.

Is there somewhere I can go to get torque specifications, I have a 240SX fsm and a disc with the SR20 fsm but they don't have alot on there. Is there any for the manifold or do you just bolt it on nice a snug? When I go to install the new flywheel, do I resurface it? Anybody know if the Nismo Super Coppermix clutch is any good? I mean it's got to be nice, but is it on the same level as spec?

Also, I bolted on a Peak Performance turbo mani and now I have no clearance for the hotpipe connection. The silcone coupling touches the manifold, wouldn't that melt it and screw that shit up? I think I'm going to need a new turbo hotpipe extension part, but I haven't seen them anywhere without buying a new turbo, any ideas? If I could create a thicker gasket it would definatly clear better. Here's some pictures, I'll have more tomorrow.
