what ignition coil you running?

run you sure it is ignition and not fuel?

Agreed.

Slap a daughter board on your stock ECU.
i agree with this too...thats why i sugguested this www.bikirom.com the aussies make this and they are generally tuning gurus...what do you think of this Bow?

Hey Toad..

Biki is pretty good, but the PLMS stuff rocks as well ( Aussies as well)...

They have normal, 2 EEPROM daughter boards as well as a real time setup the works totally through the Consult port...

ill have to check that out...i love the aussies thats why i rock the datalogit

the emanage was saying it wasnt detecting ign but it might just be saying that as a general error i dont know anyone else running one so my points of reference are limited

Are you running a Stock Ignition coil and stock spark plug gaps?

Some of the Turbo guys I know tend to have trouble with the Stock Coil/ Stock plug gaps getting "Blown Out" at higher boost levels. This tends to show up around 5000 - 5500 RPMs

You might try an After Market Coil or reduce your plug gaps

yeah when i had my altima i was running 12.5:1 comp and i was useing NGK V-Power plugs that were 2 heat ranges higher then stock(stock=BKR5E-11/higher=BKR7E-11) , running a MSD super coil, indexing the plugs, and running a larger gap

im running the top of the line ngk iridiums with the gaps they came with last time i messed with an iridium i broke the tip off

the coil is stock what would you recomend for an upgrade?? and is any wire splicing needed?

I would check the gap on your plugs. I think NGK's come pre-gapped, but it wouldn't hurt to check, ya know?

If you need a set of feeler gauges I have an extra set you can have. I didn't look at the package and bought a set that didn't get small enough for my needs.

my duetchwerks leak too...remember me talkin about this at the meet that friday night? when i get some money im prob gonna change brands...
