lol gonna chance on finding one local tomorrow... Don't really feel like waiting on shipping at this point.

Maybe I'll clean up the car a bit, and work on my water temp gauge... lol really don't have anything left to do to get it running.

i just did some water temp gauge werkz.... i had to get a water neck adapter, and rewire the gauge, as i had the power to the signal, and the signal on the power LOL, so it read full hot/spontaneous combustion... it's good now though...

What gauges? I'm starting to hate on my VDO gauges.

hey i didn't catch it but when you did the rebuild what pistons did you use?
LOL, its cool if you didn't catch it. I never rebuilt it. Its still running the original pistons and rods. All I did was to pull the head after it was overheated to have it checked out. Head was warped, got it milled, and I hope that was all she needed.

The only aftermarket parts in the long block are head related. 10mm ARP studs and BC V2 cams... using a felpro head gasket because I already had one lying around for some reason.

Well, local shop only stocks low pressure regulators for carb'd drag cars. Go figure that in the ass crack of VA, all you find support for his ******* shit. I like a 572 as much as the next guy, but these damn ******** who can't read need to start running fuel injection and get w/ the previous century already. /end_rant

Summit will get my order lol.

Nah, never did... Just gonna replace it w/ name brand for piece of mind and either toss the faulty one or sell it, noting it needs a rebuild or something.

In other news I love my radiator fan wired to my fog light circut... best ghetto idea all week.

Well, it cranks nice and strong now without leaking fuel out of the FPR... But it still wont turn over.

Replaced the battery, fixed the positive cable's connection, and got the FPR working. The only thing I can think of is that the dizzy might be like one rotation off. But if its not that, I'm totally lost.
