Muffler is all sexy and painted now. I lost count on how many times i flipped it over and added more coats. I still want to spray it some more...(painting OCD kicks in every now and then) to cover some spots. pics will come when i get home.

All Done! Took a little over an hour to do.. and most of that hour was spent turning the muffler over and recoating it. i lost count how many times i flipped it over. but i still see very very small spots that i messed up on... but i figure it wont hurt to keep spraying it. cant be too careful! i thought itcame out pretty good.. My painting rig consisted of a heavy gauge cardboard tube that was suspended between two recycling bins. that way, i could spray it without fear of drips. i still managed to get a few near the muffler tip though. maybe ill lightly sand them and throw some more paint on there. and dont mind the dark marks, those are finger prints.

Items used:

3M 320 grit sandpaper
Water
thick cardboard tube
recycling cans

haha i mentioned it a few posts ago. Rustoleum 2000F Engine paint. Its reallllly flat lol. Almost no gloss.. its gonna be hella sleeper. Apexi aint got shit on me!

kind of. it squeals less.. but its still there..only when i first start the car and rev. otherwise if i wait like 30 sec i can rev like hell and it doesnt make a sound. ill sit down with it friday and really try to tighten them.

i got quoted $70 to weld the new muffler. I think its pretty good deal, and ive went to this shop before (for my lex muffler install) and they did a good job.

i believe so. i see a lot of the local "tuners" running them in the high beams, and then using them as driving lights. I see this a lot in the DA integra crowd.

im not using these in the lows. the lows are H4, and im doing to put a DDM 5K Kit in there after inspection.

something different for the highs. i wanted to see how it would look.

Also, scoot, what size is the filter on your kit? im getting the 95-96 version, as i have the screw in IAT.

Yea, after seeing my dads 4runner (we installed the Xenon Depot 5k kit) and that color was perfect. Pure white, with a ever so slight tint of blue. Id say the same color as the OEM TL's. And it has a darker blue at the cutoff line.

i had 6ks on the lex, and in hindsight that was slightly more blue but not too much.
