well you said you need the valve cover for the pcv calve but theres not a pcv valve there, the pcv valve on the twin cam is underneath where the thermostat housing is so im confused as to what you actually need

anyways dropped the motor in today
ill have it runnin by the end of the week

yes thats a bright green engine cradle lol

According to the FSM the PCV Valve is located on the valve cover and plumbed right into the intake. it's where your green hose is (i think, the pic is a little fuzzy) and runs right in. there's a nipple in the injen cai that my car came with for it, but it's just blocked off.

lol well i could sell you my spare twin cam out of my other parts car

i think i mentioned it before

its a 91 hatch

only one problem, youd have to find or repair the block, it threw a rod through the block, literally, ill have to put pics up of it, its insane

dude i claim the cylinder head, i wanna do the dohc swap on my sohc block. It bumps the compression up. btw hows the car running?

i didnt think you could do that?

any ways its runnin alright
its holding revs for some reason though
like i can let mt foot off and itll stay there for a few seconds then slowly drop
it also has a horrible hickup/misfire im trying to figure out still

check the thottle cable itself make sure it moves freely too my sentra had that problem nothing a can of wd40 cant handle...unless the cable got pinched in which case you will need a new one...

lol i checked that too thats not the problem either, idk what it is its aggravating though, not to mention you try to get on it hard it just stutters and falls flat on its face, its just extremely aggravating, i think its timing cus idk what else it could be

ohmed out all the injectors and theyre all at aprox 11 like the fsm says

dude my moms car is doing the EXACT same thing... i tried resetting the ecu and it ran better for a couple of days. you could try resetting the ecu, unless you did that too...

kaman i pmd you, went to send the crank last night, but i didnt have the street address lol

anyways as far as problems it ended up being my fuel rail not in there properly mixed with timing being off (fixed with a timing light) and then i thought i had a vac leak so i took the whole manifold off

this is no fun to do while the engine is in the damn car, what a pain in the ass^

it was idling high and i thought i heard a vac leak on the manifold where it meets the engine so i took it all off and rtv'd the gasket, to no avail

then i felt reaaaallllyyy f-ing stupid

the high idle was caused by the throttle plate, i guess since the engine had so much carbon build up it had to be adjusted
well i cleaned the piss outta the engine before i put it in and all that carbon was gone, letting more air in causing the car to idle at 1300

i felt soo stupid for not messing with that in the first place knowing i had cleaned it a crap load

but for my car it ended up being timing and the fuel rail not being seated properly, now it runs like a dream

just need to fix the ghost revs (it hold revs a long time after i let off the gas, im thinking tps and throttle cable adjustment)

but it could also be the fact that its an auto ecu in a manual car, idk
