Rik- Eh. It's not worth it just yet. See what I can come up with first.

Swapped out the cap for a Nismo after hearing the Mishi's are hit and miss. Temps seemed a bit more stable, will take it on a longer drive with more boost to see how it holds up. Water pump pulley should be here any day now too.

Body work is likely a spring thing now. Need to source my new front bumper, hood, skirts, and rear bumper, and set aside another 2k or so for paint and body repairs.

That said, think I might have scored a gangster hookup on a new Tomei Trax diff. Wooooooo. Finally start redoing that bastardized rear end.

So. Drove the car to work today. 50 miles later, and a notch out of the gas tank, the cooling issues are figured out.

Water temp held at 180 for a good while....until the oil temp passed it and hit 200-205. This is with minimal/no boost.

Clearly the cooling system is doing its job, until the massive heat block of a motorset overpowers it.

Oil cooler just got higher up the list. Should fix all the issues.

Decently busy day

Spiked 220s pissing off a homeboy that thought his new Camero SS that chirped into second was all badass. He wasn't thrilled.

Came home. Hours later, put a new set of plugs in, swapped out the water pump pulley, and did an oil change. Had to use Mobil 1 in a pinch last time, and it's broken down from hours of heat on the dyno. /sadface Thought I'd make it longer before it died. Now I know why the oil temps sucked more than normal, and why oil pressure was down around 11.

Swapped in some Rotella 5w40, all is well. (JE was out of Motul 5w40 :p Next time)

Washed the car for the first time in 2-3 months for the car show tomorrow. Great success. Except for the fact I have to get up at 6 to clean the wheels and polish the exhaust. :\

Made my usual Stark-style impulse purchase. Local had 30mm Z32 fronts, with all hardware, and good pads and rotors, and the z32 rears (bare) for $250. Sitting in the garage waiting for powdercoat :)

Ordered Aerocatch's and a pair of speedbleeders. (Needed a small item for free shipping ;) )

Comes with everything needed (lines, gaskets, fittings), similar results, supporting good parts. Not being another lemming :p

BW efr requires a new manifold/intake, and a lot more work. Bolt in replacement ftw.

Local dropped off a new bumper and hood yesterday.... gonna be craaaazy. Sooo sitting in the garage: New hood, new bumper, new fenders. Gotta pick a rear setup, find some skirts, and try and locate the new wing I want.

Well. Hurry up! :p

Taking the car in for an estimate tomorrow on painting the new bumper/hood/fenders. Rear will wait some more, since I have to both tackle this heating need first, and pick a new rear bumper to go with the new wing I'm getting :D

Local hood didn't end up working, so I'll be grabbing a new one this week.

Also toying with the idea of getting an RB25 trans adapter kit from AU and rigging that up. (Since none in the US lol)

Also debating changing out the S15 cluster for something else even more uncommon. No I'm not telling :p
