well theres black spots on the display for the hud where it shortcircuted and blew out.... and im having trouble putting it abck togeher lol w/e idk if i should even put it back together since broke. oh yea since all u guys live by newark it takes me 3 hours to get ther which sucks

If your'e thinking of a 300zx (a Z32 that is) then run away NOW. They're a PITA to work on and cost twice as much to modify compared to a 240sx. Unless you've owned Z32's before, I'd stay away. If your'e thinking of a Z31 (84-88) those are much easier to deal with and despite people knockin' them for being old the turbo models can be made into monsters. And RB20's fit perfectly since in Japan there was a rare Z31 that came w/ the RB. They don't have the clearance and heat issues like the Z32 does.toy4two said:

My boyfriend has a Z32 TT sitting in the driveway. Nuff said..
It has so many issues with it that are impossible to diagnose. He used to work at Nissan and when he had it there he even had master technicians scratching their heads. They have a bazillion vacuumn lines, poor ventiliation for the intercoolers/ horrible access to just about everything. Its not a picnic unless you really love them to death or if you have deep pockets to take it to the Z car dealership.
I have to admit when it was running, it was a very enjoyable car, its fast as hell and you get lots of looks in it. And because it looks so sinister (esp. in black) no one tries to mess with you. But if your'e driving a 240 everybody and their mother wants to run you off the road. I don't get it.

which i find outreagiously amuseing now cause i just :smacked49 any that try then they pull up next to me and are like "woah whats in that thing" i hate being a smart ass but i usually give them the "more then u have" then ill eventually show and tell... and i never get tired of "wow a skyline motor"skydragoness said:

wow im dumb.... i took out all the dash and everything to get the carpert out and then realizd i didnt have to lol. well u live and learn. i guess its good practice. lol im such an idiot, and ive hit my damn head on the auto seatbelts like 100 times
