Hey all, new here and just wanted to say that I am sorry my first post. It was intended to be funny and not to upset those who follow protocol to the letter. Either way, just acquired an S13-to be and I like to see what I can see on specialty sites such as 240sxforums.com
As for my background in automotive interests, I began nearly 15 years ago building cars with a 69 fastback mustang cherry restore, then an 88 LX 5.0 nitrous monster, which lead into a 93 LX 5.0 blower car with all the fixings. I then turned my interests to a 94 Camaro and then later on traded that in for a 96 Camaro...yes LT1 (which is now an LT? but that is a long story in it's self.) Along the way I helped out some friends who were very much into imports back when the scene started to kick off in 1995 in Houston and then started working at an import shop in 1997. I acquired my first Civic in 2001 which happened to be a 2001 EX model and have it set up for road racing with a custom turbo setup & cam/head work in the process. I still own both the ‘96 Z28 and the Civic. About a year ago I purchased a first gen RX-7 (12A) and did not have the time to work on it and basically gave it away to some local guy. With business going well and the help of a good friend of mine, last week I picked up an 89 240sx coupe and will be getting it ready for the s13-s15-sr20det-super drifto-holy motherless goat-hold onto your shorts setup. I am looking forward to my visits to the site and getting to know some good people.
