Do you have the part underneath the car in the rear that the exhaust hangers hook to, its bolted to the chasis. I don't have any actual pics of it but heres one from the FSM, let me know.

dude do yourself a favor and just get a new bracket.. that thing is rusted on almost every 240. the part number for a new one is 20742-35F10, goes for $18.88 msrp.
