Jarco all the way, I contacted about 6 other companies none were as helpful and patient and as good as them, they know what they are doing and see A+++ items, i got my clip and it looked like it had just left a show room. Mike is the man!

no issues with venus auto. my rb20det i got from them only had 20,000km 12k miles i couldnt belive it i check everything turbo clutch radiator the whole clip looks so low milege even venus couldnt believe it. i got a sr20det clip from them also ran like a champ. still runs actually! i know people who have bought over 45 clips from them and only had 2 be bad.
I got my first RB20 from them and it was perfect, ran very strong for as long as my driving style permitted. After i blew my first one I ordered a long block from them and thats when I started having problems. They sent me a bad long block, it had low compression in 2 cylinders and they refused to handle the shipping costs back to them, after going through another bad long block they sent they finally took care of shipping both ways and they got me a good motor. The last clip I got from them went into a customers car and ran perfect and still does, so it's more of a hit or miss with venus. One thing I can say about them is that when there is an issue they're willing to work with you to fix it.

For you guys who went with JHot - how much did u guys pay? I'm looking @ their site right now and they don't have prices listed for their motors.

Jarco is listing their RB25's @ around $3700 for the clip. Is this around what u guys paid?

that is exactly what i paid at Jarco. I just talked to them again the other day trying to get Micheal to bring me back an RB25 long block. But when I got my clip 6 months ago it was 3700 with rear chunk + fuel pump+ driveshaft+ little goodies the jap left in the glove box lol. The fact that Jarco was the only company that would send me a video of it running is what turned me on to them. And I'm telling those of you/us that haven't heard that first crank yet... keeping that video and playing it over and over again is sometimes the only thing that keeps you going lol

I got mine from www.japanmotorimport.com for $1100 shipped. It was said "150" across all cyl. but I dont know. I havent tested the motor yet and wont until its in the car. Hopefully it will turn over but I dont see why it shouldnt? There seems to be alot of oil around the engine but its also been sitting in the warehouses for so long and I cant barely tell. I just hope it turns over. Already puts some money into the motor itself...

Wow, 3700 for an RB25 clip? Man that sucks for you guys on the east coast, I've yet to see anyone around here pay more than 3000 after shipping and get very clean and well running motors.

got two rb20s from japanese engine depot. Bought one motorset for $975 and a long block for $650. Cheap shipping too, and it took less than a week to get both motors. Good guy named Rob works there. They are hard to find on the internet though. If you want, I'll try to find/remember their number.
