So the switch where you change the speeds of the A/C fans is broken on my s14. It only works on level 4, i get no air for 1,2,or3 but when i turn it to 4 the air comes out.. but its at full blast.. whcih is kind of annoying.

Anyways are there any tutorials of how to get back there and fix this?

wow that probally was the most pointless help ever for him. if he is trying to fix his air i highly doubt he wants to remove it.

there is a resistor pack on the blower motor under the pasangers side of the dash. the resistor pack has 3 resistors in it that allow it to contol the 3 differnt speeds of the fan. the fourth speed bypasses the resistor pack allow it to always work. if you get a fsm for a 1995 it is in section HA pages 38 and 40 or pages 39 and 41 in the 98 fsm. page 38 or 39 show the location under the dash of the resistor and page 40 show the wiring diagram for it. you should be able to goto a dealership and buy one fairly inexpensivly and put it in your self. it uses one plug with 4 wire coming out of it according to the fsm so should take no work at all to replace.
