No emission in Alabama...My car would never pass it in a million years!!
Nope, the EPA hasn't convinced ALDOT to start doing emissions testing yet. I figure we'll have it in 5-10 years though.
will some body PLEASE explain this to BoostinIX? hes dead set on emissions being in every state even tho he dont live in Alabama.

Guys, let's not pollute this thread with a nonsensical debate about emissions/smog testing legislation. All states will probably have it eventually, but let's stick to REGIONAL chat here.

Hey C, do you mind dropping the fender roller off at my moms next time you have an autox. i know its a little farther out but you are really close to her house when you are in pelham there. i am not home on any weekends where there is an autox and i need to get that back to dave soon. or maybe leave it with alan and he can drop it by, im not sure but i need you guys help getting it back.

btw i sold my car if you all didnt know already, i hope to find something soon but may wait til after graduation in early may, being without a car in auburn is ok but come may ill need something to drive

i agree with alan - the states that dont have it will eventually fall to some kind of national EPA laws.

cool about selling the car....i wish i had more motivation to sell mine and buy the camaro back from my dad. :/

I go to church in Jasper, but never really drive through unless I'm heading up Walston Bridge to a friend's house.

Keith, it's kind of hard to have motivation when you're 4300 miles away from your car. lol

I'm alright here. Got some video of the rotating cloud as it passed over Pinson/Clay last evening. Pretty amazing stuff. Still trying to find vids of when it ripped through downtown.
My buddy Jacob lost everything though. He lived out in the Cordova/Dora/Perrish area, and called our pastor last night to let him know that he lost it all to that tornados. You name it: car, truck, house, storage, interior amenities: gone.

I'm here, and doing fine (apart from finals killing me). However....

One of my coworkers was killed Thursday night. Her house collapsed on her. I think she had 2 or 3 children. :(
Another lady I work with lost her house Wednesday morning (she lives/lived in Cahaba Heights). Her husband was injured by a tree going through the roof and upstairs, but I believe he is ok now.
One of my buddies up on Dora had quite an experience. His trailer was lifted off it's foundation (with him and his family in it) and shifted a bit (though not completely off), a tree fell on his truck (and thankfully did minimal damage), and his uncle's house had an ENTIRE side of the house removed by the tornado. Every other trailer around him was completely demolished by trees or the twister.
One of the ladies I go to church with was spared when the tornado literally jumped over her house.

Oh, and while I was filming the rotating cloud as it passed over I-59/Clay/Trussville, a pillow fell from it and landed on Hwy 75 about 200 feet from my house. Pretty crazy.

speaking of our area... the tornado basically went around us. what i read suggested it was weakened by our mountainous terrain, was directed, regained strength and continued doing it`s thing. there`s a picture of the path that the tusc/bham tornado took across the entire state and the only place it stumbled was right in the area where me and Alan live. kinda crazy. especially since it was heading right for me from 79 when it started to weaken/redirect.

Yeah, the foothills of the Smokies definitely helped out. It pains me to hear about all the devastation, but I can't help but laugh when I see a pillow fall out of the clouds. lol
