Any update? you were so close..

Aright guys, I got the 255LPH fuel pump and its alot more RPM dependent but the plugs fouled almost imediatly. I was gonna take it around the block and video tape it for you guys but right when i was taking the car out the drive way it died. so i coasted it back down to check the plugs and there black as night.... Im wondering if this is an Air/Fuel ratio or if i needa a timming adjustment. ALSO. the cars oil still gets dirty sooo fast. ive changed the oil So much and ive probly only put like 80 miles on it at the MOST. and its probly gone threw its 5th oil change. Im thinking theres just alot of engine slugde ??

and will i need a fuel controller or somthing to keep this thing from maybe fouling the plugs??

Thanks guys. Sorry its been so long with out anyvideos. Im gonna change the plugs one last time and take a video of it while the plugs last.

I almost got it to rev out to about 11 PSI. impretty sure the engines gonna go with that much. But i baught one of those manual boost controllers. i set it to 10 PSI.

Guys, Ive grown tired of all the problems this car has thrown at me and im about done with it. What should i do?? Rebuild the KA ?? or go SR and put my turbo kit on it?? i would imagine id only needa a diff turbo manifold and intake side IC piping.... Plz lemme know what you think. Im sorry i havent posted any videos of the car.

Aright, so i think my families willing to help me on this one cuz they know how much i want to get into drifting and right now im trying to create a list for the engine.........

new wirring harness because its in bad shape
greddy emanage
CP pistons
OEM rods ? or performance ? or just stay with stock ?
new vavle train
port the head
new cam
cam gear

What do you guys think of this.... http://www.importperformanceparts.net/imports/strokerkits_nissan.html it says ka24e (D) so does that mean it fits both ??


ORRR..... my family keeps telling me to sell the car... but i doubt i can get much out of it. Not more than a grand thats forsure.

IDK i just needa get this thing finished..

Do you realize the work you are gonna have to do for a stroker kit?

Good standalone
Pistons and rods and rings
Don't worry about the valves and cam gear, tons more work.
You really don't need to PnP the head, but you can.
A step up cam from PDM
Good engine bearing
New oil pump

Yeah screw stroker i guess.

Ive desided me and some buddies are gonna pull the motor tomorrow, and gonna order:

Pistons with that special coating.
CP KA24E/DE Forged Pistons 89-89.5mm

idk if i need rods. Id probly like to keep the stock crank and rods if theres strong enough.

then i found this.eBay Motors: NISSAN 2.4 L 1989 - 1996 Cylinder Head REMAN KA24E SOHC (item 150307105471 end time Dec-29-08 15:03:16 PST) I know its ebay but this looks like a good head

and this too.. eBay Motors: New Nissan KA24E Full Gasket Set Pick Up 240SX 1989-97 (item 350135276109 end time Dec-10-08 11:42:58 PST)

Also, do you know any sites to find crank and rod bearings for the SOHC ? cuz ive been searching forever and cant find the parts i need for a KA24E.

you all act like you only put top dollar stuff on your cars.
the final time around, i fully built my car out of top quality parts and it surpassed most expectations when mrkfc made 340whp and 335 ft/lbs @ only 12 psi :p. doubt you would see that from a ssac kit at 12 psi.... if its compressor housing's plumbing welds would even stay together at that psi ^_^
