So the ka24e hose connector isn't working.
Image

KA24DE one comes out with 90* turn, so with this one, there isn't enough clearance and causes the hose to crimp.:gaah:
Ill be at the junkyard bright and early tomorrow. Again. For a .05% chance of actually finding that part.:gaah:

See if you can find a local welder to make it so that he cuts it in half, makes a pipe with a 90* turn and welds both ends on. Might cost you some monies but better than wasting all that time and gas.

Unless you are hellbent on finding an OEM one

Or you can make a cardboard replica of what you need. Bring it to him so he knows what to do

So I had my cam timing wrong, fixed it. Got her started and my starter squeals like a motherfucker! It scared the shit out of me, thinking my bearings didnt have enough clearance or something. In conclusion, she just needs a starter now. That wont be until i get paid :[
I also had to disconnect my horn, because out of nowhere it started honking and wouldn't stop. Running around looking for my damn 10mm to unplug the battery! I still hear ringing in my ears.:WTF:

Turns out it is my clutch and/or flywheel making the noise. The clutch pedal went straight to the floor, and lost all pressure. I looked under the car and the clutch slave cylinder was in pieces. Returned it, put a new one on, removed clutch damper, and bled it. The clutch built up pressure, but it doesn't come back up on its own. So further research tells me I need a new pivot ball and possibly the clutch fork and retainer spring. :mad2:
Any input on this would be awesome, before I drop the transmission again. Thanks
Edit: I took the boot cover off, and I can see that the fork is still on the pivot ball and the spring is holding it on, but the fork isn't attached to the sleeve/bearing and the clip fell off somewhere. It felt like it popped off when I was cranking the engine for oil pressure.

or what happened to me, part of the TOB sleeve broke where the retainer clip went :)
I hope not, but there is a good chance something is broken. This is the second time it has popped off trying to bleed the slave. Something isn't quite right there lol.

Dont give up man your so close lol
Never! Lol. Thanks for the support!
