What's up my fellow enthusiasts? :wazzup: I want to introduce myself and my car. I'm Kevin and this is my 1991 240sx SE.
I bought her back in October with a serious rod knock. She was aesthetically beautiful so I took her home as a project. No rust, no accidents, and the guy I bought it from was the only owner since 1990. He was older and took great care for the vehicle. Really cant believe she has 249k miles.
So far the engine is out and completely disassembled.
Poor thing spun EVERY bearing. 1st rod bearing was broken in half :lamende: Needless to say there's machining to be done. The Block and crank are with the machinist now, getting tanked, honed/bored, and decked. Crank is getting a grind and polish. He is also making his own parts to match and balance everything perfectly.
The head looks great, but im going to get it checked and surfaced anyways.
My plans for the car:

I'm going for grip and balance. So im planning on the s14 sub-frame swap, adjustable suspension (including toe/camber arms etc.), master bushing kit, wide ass rims + 5lug conv., engine & trans mounts, and anything else that comes up in my research for handling.
