or Nimso 1.5:beer2:
any 1.5 for that matter, if you want streetability too.

Straight out of Kaaz's mouth:
What is the difference between a 1, 1.5 way or 2 way Limited Slip Differential ( LSD ) ?

These numbers refer to the operation of the cams within the Limited slip differential. A 1 way diff only provides lock between the wheels whilst accelerating. In a 1.5 way diff, there is a degree of lock during braking, as well as under acceleration. The braking cam is half the size of the acceleration cam - hence the term 1.5 way. This provides a degree of improved balance during braking, but with less effect than a 2 way LSD.

In a 2 way LSD, the braking cam is the same size as the acceleration cam, providing more lock under braking. This provides the most stability and balance under braking, although it can induce some understeer in corners.

Hey whats up, i got a kaaz 2 way lsd in my 91 hatch. once you break it in and get used to it while your driving I E like to work or school and not drifting its ok. But when you wanna slide it kicks some serious butt. Im not knockin the welded guys out there cuz thats how i learned was with a welded diff. But if you have the money go with the kaaz 2 way. if not start with a welded and go from there.

If you feel like your over steering let off the gas turn the wheel a little more then get back on the gas.

So welded dif

since your experience comes mostly from shit cars I disregard your opinion completely

for 300+whp cars a clutch type is the way to go. drive a 300whp car with a welded then drive it with a clutch type and then come talk to me.

If you feel like the car's not rotating properly, and you don't have enough power available at the moment to throttle steer, lift off a bit to unsettle the car to get it to start rotating. You get angles on the turn and lap times drop... or you spin out and look like a n00b.

... The things I have to do with my crap VLSD.
