First modification completed :)

I got the JDM gauges and modified them to read up to 180 mph and put the JDM tach in to make the redline look like it was 7k just for the coolness factor. Anyway, here's my results with blue LEDs...pic is kinda blurry sorry.

Edit: if any of you are wondering...the speedo is still my USDM speedo, just with the JDM face on it. I modified the solders in the back to display the right speed and swapped in the JDM tach. I kept my USDM speedo due to odometer reasons, but the face plate swap was a pain in the ass... But it all works perfect now :)

heres mine, i used "yellow high intensity wide angle leds" off ebay and for my bubble knob i wired a UV 194 bulb to my cig lighter... also off ebay... im going to put a switch on the uv light this weekend.

Before I do this to my car, i'm worried about the brightness. Are the LEDs too bright at night and can you even dim them if you wanted?

Specifically I would like to know the brightness of the blue LEDs.
yeah you can dim them
Yeah, try reading the thread before asking questions. It's one thing to ask a question that has been asked years ago from another thread, but to ask the same thing that is only 1 page back... come on.

to save drama... yes

you are hooking them up to the same circuit that ur dimmer already controls, so unless you dont have a dimmer or your dimmer is broke, they act like normal bulbs.
