Ok guys, whats up? Ive been on here for sometime but never got around to making a build thread. Its been kind of uneventfull anyway but ive done alot lately. I picked it up last summer when i traded in my 95 bronco. I just had to pay 300 dollars. 1990 hatchback with power every thing and sunroof. Freshly painted and with a crackless dash. I'll start with some older pics till i get caught up.

oh yea, btw the new tires I have on there ar 215/60/r15's. Before i had 205/65/r15's, I don't know why the previous owner put 65's on there since thats bigger than stock. I know its nothing special but it looks way better, and definetly makes a difference. Especially since i had really crappy chinese tires before.

I have urathane bushings i got for christmas that i havn't gotten around to doing all of them but i have done the subframe inserts and the swaybar/endlink bushings.

After my excursion with the dog, my friend explained to me how my rear shock was bad. So i have some new rear kyb gr2 shocks. But, nothing special but their just to keep me going till i can afford some coilovers.:yummy

So, coming soon, the rest of my bushings, my rear struts, and removal of my rear wing. :thumbsup

future plans? goals?

Love the paint btw
Thanks man. Well as the title indicates as of right now it's my daily driver, and money is tight so in the short run i'll continue to do piddily stuff. Next season me and my friend are joining NASA, gonna do some hpde and some curcuit cross:dancingna. And i plan on this eventually being just barely streetable with it mostly being a sr'd track baby.

Heres a pic of my friends Subie, its pretty sick. Its on its way being sti engine swaped:yummy

Oh yea and im planning on joining the Navy Reserve here at the end of the summer, and after basic training continue going to school. So that $20'000 bonus outta get things moving on a sr swap and what not.:1bowdown

I just replaced my rear struts with kyb gr2's which are nothing special, idk if their any better than stock. But my rear passanger shock really was DEAD! Like i could just easily push it in and out, quickly! But any way, actually went really smooth, which is wierd cause i always mess up at least something. lol But, results, amazing! Much smoother road, my rear end dosn't hop, and over all my rear end just feels planted. I can just imagine what coilovers would do, Holy Crap! Anyway, im just really happy right now.

update

Theres the old shock next to the new one with the spring on it. I went back and looked at the bad one today and it was completely colapsed in. haha, can't believe i didn't change them earlier:12dunno

So i went to the salvage yard and got a new fender support bar or what ever you call it, along with a liner. So thats fixed now.

And.... I failed inspection:tears That sucks, i had a marker light and a liscense plate light out. Along with a bad tie rod, and a torn steering rack boot. But funny story my friend pointed both those facts out while changing my sway bar bushings.I didn't even know they checked that stuff? Probably just looking for money, cause they said they could fix it all for 550 bucks! Screw that, and just end up with oem spec stuff. So i ordeed the following, and will definetly be doing it myself.

Circuit Sports Inner/Outter Tie Rod Combo For Nissan 240sx - Enjuku

Megan Racing Silicon steering boots For Nissan 240sx - Enjuku Racing

They'll be here wensday, and i'll be sure to post up some picks:thumbsup

Well, now that ive had it professionally aligned my overal impression is amazing, i didn't think that i had that much slop but apperently i did. Because it is much tight and precise! Very happy with it, it actually feels like less power assist. I don't know why? any ideas? Either way i like it :)

Btw i have some stuff to sell, got 4 teardrop wheels with tires, not good ones, but some tread left, 1 bf goodrich at touring 195/60/r15 in great condition, Stock steering wheel and some other asorted stuff, i'll start a for sale thread. Welp, The lsd came in last week and it was installed Saturday. Crappy part is it was raining on and off, so me and my friend ended up rigging a really ghetto tarp set up over the rear end of the car. Still got soaking wet tho. haha:eek: Anyway, the lsd was in great shape! and definetly works! I'll let the pic and video do the speaking.
