not like those huge boxes that audio stores make for universal use. I'm making one to fit my 240. how would I go about doing so. (with wiring to my amp)? sorry I can't be more specific or anything, I'm new to doing stereo work. and I didn't post this in the Audio section because General Tech gets more viewers, so I figured more response. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'd take it to shop, should be around the 120 area for a custom box and installation, because you need the right size box for optimal perf. for the sub along with fitting in the car, yo can make it ported sealed and all kinds of variable for optimal performance so........... I'd leave it to a pro. also look in the audio section we got guys that design boxes for the 240 for free, hint word design not build so.................

PS: What your system specs?

BTW: Box helper

Yeah that'd be the better choice, I've done a few boxes but that was only an enclosure, not a custom fit so..........

I would put it under the rear deck in that hole, what you do is take the measurement of the area LxWxH and then put it in that box calc.(I would but im at work) and then it will give you the area of the box and you can figure out if a ported or sealed would be better(For the most part ported is but......)

then that could make the pro's job easier, possible price cut IDK
