10psi ok. i think i know the answer but just out of curiosity, how much HP do you gain for every 1 psi?

 

i think its 10, but that can vary with turbo size easily. i know for every 10 degrees you lower intake temp you gain 1% hp

 

you could go to 12

 

It's said that for every 1psi it's 10whp but in actuality in looking at dyno's it's more around 8whp per psi...

 

i believe i have an internal wastegate so in order for me to turn up the boost i need to get a boost controller correct?? Anyone no where i can get a good electric boost controller, turbo timer combined for a descent price?

 

For where you're at it would be better to go with an hks t28 actuator. It comes set at 10lbs.

 

I suggest the AEM Tru-Boost (Controller & Gauge in 1)
with a decent timer...

 

cool i will go check it out. I found a TT and EBC in 1 and the brand is called ISIS. It is only 199.99. Is ISISI a good brand or not? do i need to by a fuel pump regulator since i bought the walbro 255 or can i just put the 255 in and call it a day?

 

I run 14 psi on mine with no problems

 

With bigger injectors and a Z32 MAF you can run 15 PSI all day long. The turbo runs out of breath at 18.

Well i dont need to worry about if i can turn the boost up anymore cause if you all read my other thread, a lady hit my 240 and the insurance totalled it out so now i am looking for a new car.

I was told that the factory head gasket can hold 15 psi so I would stay under that. I know other people run more but do you want to take a chance if its a daily driver.

 

If your gonna up the boost our should have your fuel and ignition remapped

 

I have a s13 redtop with a t28, stock fuel pump, maf, injectors etc. etc., and set it to about 10-11psi, and it spools to 10psi by 3500k rpm, and accelerates hard till it hits a little over 4k rpms, then it pops and sputters...Any ideas? Didn't want to start a new thread, but I don't think 10-11 psi is good for the stock fuel system.

Just bought a walbro 255 fuel pump, should be in in about a week...
