YES!
XS Engineering of Long Beach (I am sure you have heard of XS Engineering) makes them. Got mine on Ebay for about $140 shipped and it is very nice. It is just short of being 3". It has no side to side bends like the greddy and fits perfect. Very quality piece.

when i say cat-delete downpipe i mean its a downpipe but longer than normal so it completely removes the need for a cat or test pipe or what have you.

first, im not sure if you care, but removing the cat is illegal for a street driven car in almost all places. Second, if you want to just replace the cat you could go to an auto store and grap a small piece of pipe and bolt it on, or make your own with a welder, a pipe, and a couple of flanges.

yeah where have you been? the sr is and always will be illegal in america... if we're talking about emmissons, north carolina doesnt have emmissons testing for pre-'96 cars. only safety... plus i know people haha

i already have a test pipe but its pointless when im never going to need a cat.

plus its stupid to have an extra flange when its really not needed.

wtf are you guys talking about? removing the cat is illegal, the sr motor is not illegal. The non-turbo engine comes stock in many cars, and there are countless magazines and websites who have done this conversion. They would not do it is the average person couldn't do it legally. oh, and like andrew said, it gives you the ability to replace the pipe with a cat when you get pulled over and busted.

the sr20de comes in a fwd version in america.. i've never seen a rwd come stock here, if you happen to have known or seen one please let me know.

as for being pulled over, i've been pulled over a few times but the cops here dont really know about cars.. im in north carolina not nazi california.

shinhed: thanks for the link

and most magazines or places that sell motors state that the swap is for off road use only. and technically the SR is illegal. it was not made to pass usdm emmision spec or else we would already have them here. and removing the cat isnt illegal, if it passes emmisions, so be it, if it doesnt you arent gonna get your car towed.

sry guys, i forgot this is an american forum, In canada it is illigal to remove the cat, i the use it is just a bad idea because of the poisons that the cat reduces.

Edit: Just checked a book publised in indiana, which states "it is never legal to replace your factory catalytic converter with either a test pipe or a hollowed out catalytic converter."
