So I had to settle down a bit during college, but I'm out and in the real world now. I have been tryin to track down a good chassis to build for the past 6 months, but here in Ohio a good s13 is hard to come by. I have looked at over a handful of 240's and every single one had far too much rust than I wanted to deal with. Then finally one day I decided to skim craigslist out of boredom, and found this gem.

Delivery!

For an ohio car this thing is near mint! The car has a spun bearing and came with the motor and tranny still in the car. The frame rails look in mint condition, the interior is near perfect and almost entirety complete (and BLACK!), and the whole car only has 125k on it. When I first looked at the car I thought it had zero rust at all but after getting it on jack stands I did discover that the bottom of the side skirts at the rear have a little bubbling through :( . But that's a project for next winter! I am not really into the whole drift scene, this car is going to be mainly drag inspired (live 30 min from Norwalk). This is gonna be a long running build thread for me so stay tuned!

Plans for right now:
pull motor and clean bay
sr20 swap
suspension upgrades
wheels
build motor
cosmetic next winter
and so on :ihit

Looks good in its new home

Starting to pull things apart

So as I started to pull things apart I discovered the car had a few little surprises :) such as a B&M short shifter, adjustable front end links, KYB AGX struts, and steel braided clutch and fuel lines.

im in ca and i would be willing to pay shipping and your 150 bucks on top of it. and if you could throw it the ecu and wiring harness with it that would be great! pm me or something with details.

what i did for mine was drop the rack and use a box end wrench on it to keep it from rounding the bolt off. i had to use another wrench for leverage to break the bolt loose. was really easy.

Okay so finally had time to work on the car today, the driver side motor mount was being a dick but I put it in its place.

I love surprises!

I measure work by how many beers it takes to complete! :cheers

Now its time to clean the bay and prepare for the swap, it will be at least a week or two before I go pick up a motor. Cant wait:gc-drool1:

Contemplating going ka-t now, seems like it might be better for my goals if the block and head are still good on my motor minus the bearings. This car will mainly be for drag so the more torque of the ka would be good. And it kinda seems more logical to rebuild that motor with forged internals and making around 400hp than dropping 2k on a sr20 swap. Opinions?
