Hello, I am new to this forum, and I am here because I need help to remove the stock spoiler that comes with my 1993 240SX. I would just like to know if I have to remove the inside plastics from the hatch to get to the spoiler bolts. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated, the sooner I get that faded spoiler off the quicker I can install a new and better spoiler.

Thank you

i went to a body shop to see how much it would cost to fix a hole in mine. Luckily i just had one but it was about the same size as the ones warpig has. the guy wanted $75-100! i can get a new hatch for $125 w/out the spoiler! i know the exact one i would get from the junkyard too. its in great shape. the only problem is that its that dark-red/maroon color and mine is just red. im gettin a new paint job in like a year tho so it wouldnt b that big of a deal would it?

yeah, i got a new hatch before i did that. the rust didnt look that bad with the spoiler on. once i got the hatch i got bored so i basically just ripped the spoiler off. i love my car sooo much better without that damn foam thing.

yeah, they gave crazy high estimates to get it fixed at a body shop. i got a perfect hatch, both doors (in pretty decent shape) and the gas tank filler door for $150 from the junkyard. i was so happy cause they were all black and everything already.

I'm new to the 240sx and I thought the previous owner I bought the car from put this ugly ass foam wing on. It's stock?! This just won't do.. I'm sure there is some rust hiding under this thing. He even put some sort of epoxy or something. I'm afraid to see whats underneath. :D

How much do rear hatchs usually run for a fastback?

i love my hatch. i think coupes are kinda boring looking. plus, i wasnt even shopping for 240s or anything at the time it just popped up so i cant really complain either way.
