i got it off. but i did the different way. 1st took the fan blade off then the fan clutch and put the bolts back on. now i hav to turn my a/c on so hat my fan will go on. i heard u hav to wire up your fan to acc so the fan will be on all the time. anyone have a pic or can anyone explain it to me? this fan color goes to this acc color. u know.

i could probably run my car with no fan ever.. unless it got over 100 degrees. but make sure if/when you put an e-fan on it, you get ONLY ONE and put it on the passenger side, between both radiator hoses. 3 reasons

1. Since the ka utilizes only the right side of the radiator for in-out rad fluid, almost ALL of the heat is on that side. of you touch the opposite after your car is fully warmed up, it will probably feel hot, but it wont burn you like the other side. On others where both sides are utilized it is usefull to have double fans. Ka is not

2. If your e-fan is on the hot side, it will cool the hottest part. the other side, air-flow can easily handle. Also, it prevents you from back-flowing your fan when its not on (i.e. freeway) and keeping air from reaching your radiator entirely

3. its cheaper, just get one good 12-14" fan and zip tie that bitch up. wire it to a switch, and your all good

Exactly...

Mine is a '86 Fiero GT fan
$20 out of a Pick-N-Pull...

$30 for the temp sensor/relay setup...

It's been working great for 9 years

oh well its out and its all good now. my only problem now is the steering and transmission cluth or shifter. its making noise wen i make a turn but not wen im goin like over 30mph. just wen i make sharp turns. the other 1 is i cant go in 1st 3rd or 4th gear sometimes, but 1st gear happens all the time. i have to pump the clutch a couple times to go in 1st gear. wen im in 5th gear its making a weird vribration, i think its coming from the back but im not sure. i think its the pilot bearing (release bearing is the problem). any guesses?

It is mostly self explanatory, with the exception of if your putting in a temp controller setup. Hardwiring one is very easy, attach the fan to the radiator ground it and run the power to a relay controlled by a switch or the ignition.
Ya know I have had my 240 for almost 2 years now and never realized that both hoses are on the pass. side.

^yea I have my a/c fan on the front acting as a pusher, but I think the bearings are going out so I will prolly order up a new koyo and mount the fan on the pass side, and get a smaller one as a back up to put on the drivers side.
